Unloading Lime with Fork Rent Telehandler

New Drive being excavatedDelivery of large limes from Bruns

On site today for the third delivery of trees, more Limes for the Avenue and first batches of silver birch, we are using Betula jaquemontii 'Doorenbos' as multi-stem and as standards, 20 trees in total whicgh will be nr the house and through the wooded area which has been cleared of sycamore. The Limes are now nearly all planted with just 4 to go, last ones of the lime and birch will be delivered tomorrow early morning. On site now we also have mature hornbeam hedging 600 x 600mm which will be planted to make 1.8m x 1.8m cubes on a formal lawn nr the house, 9 in total .......so lots of hornbeam!!

The new 'back drive' to the garages is now being dug out and really starting to get a sense of how the new approach will look. The rain was welcome over night for all the plants and trees but the site is now very sticky and more rains forecast!!.......watch this space for more updates on this project
