I made the splash over the lake last year, moving from my beloved New York City to London. I have always had a special place for London in my heart and whenever the opportunity came to work in London I could not turn it down.
There are many things that I looked forward to exploring in London, and obviously all the exhibition halls and well known landmarks were high up on the list yet finding a decent games bar in London was certainly the main priority. I am a colossal avid supporter, I love my American games, including American Football and Baseball, thus a game bar in London that demonstrated American games was essential. I was also quick to grasp the British games on offer, I was resolved to give Cricket a go, and have always followed the English head league.
In the wake of burrowing around on the web it became clear that there were plenty of alternatives for sports bars in London. The most celebrated and noticeable one I came across seemed, by all accounts, to be The Sports Cafe in Haymarket. I addressed a couple of Londoner’s and it definitely came recommended so I figured I would try it out first for American Football. The New England Patriots were playing the New York Jets, a significant wild rivalry, so this was an ideal game to watch in a bar for the climate. Sure enough the Sports Cafe was indicating this on the big screen and boy was I intrigued with this games bar. There are TV screens dabbed all over the bar, the style is dedicated to sports, even with a model F1 car, so you walk in realizing that on the off chance that there is a major game on, at that point this London bar sure will make them show.
There were lots of American Football fans there watching the game and it was incredible to have table help where we could plunk down, enjoy the game and request plenty of brew and a touch of food. The menu is classic American, so lots of Burgers, sandwiches and Chicken wings! In the wake of talking to the staff here I also established this was truly a 24/7 games bar as they show live games all during that time if there is a major event on. For example Cricket fans flock here for the Ashes games click here among England and Australia so in the event that you are out partying on need to polish the night off in London with sports then this is the place to go.
After the games bar I was subsequent to something more local and real as it was definitely a greater amount of an American style sports bar. I addressed a couple of work colleagues and found there were plenty of traditional London pubs demonstrating sports.
The best by far that I came across was The Three Kings in Kensington. This is another dedicated games bar in London yet its set in an immense pub with dedicated zones relying upon what game is on, so you may have a lot of rugby fans packed in the receiving area giving a shout out to their group, and afterward a load of football fans in another territory viewing the multiple screens. The environment is electric in here with plenty of singing and has quick become one of my preferred bars in London to watch sport.
