I have noticed a growing number of photos of walls and screens on my phone, so I have come to the realisation I have a thing for vertical structures! Thought I might share a few of my favourites.
I love the flint and brick walls all around the Norfolk and Suffolk coastal areas. The wonderful blend of warm brick and cold grey flint.
Two for the price of one. We have used a flat cool grey on the smooth rendered wall at the end which contrasts with the warm horizontal wooden trellis.
This is a beautiful use of reclaimed, rough timber which adds texture and detail set opposite a smooth pink and sexily curved wall.
I love these steel screens situated in the Kings Cross development, London. They obscure the view yet appear light and allow some air movement through.
I love this photo, found online, The use of multi-coloured, reclaimed timbers is so clever and adds such interest. Who needs wallpaper!
This is a lovely barn wall with a soft red brick laid in a Flemish bond (i think). Its so warm in the sunshine, ideal for climbers or sitting against.
Another flint wall, but this time one that was built with whatever was to hand, brick, stone and roof tiles.
Backdrop wall with feature lighting. A plain background which highlights objects in the foreground.
